The condition below an existing covering may not be fully visible before removal. Ask how the estimate handles damaged decking or other newly exposed conditions, and how any changes would be discussed before additional work proceeds.
Material and workmanship coverage can differ. Ask for the written terms that apply to the proposed work, including maintenance requirements and exclusions. Do not assume a coating, patch and replacement carry the same coverage.
